DIY Training is built so your training data stays yours. We do not collect it, we cannot see it, and we do not sell it to anyone.
We collect nothing. DIY Training has no accounts, no analytics SDK, no advertising, and no tracking. Your workouts, athletes, notes and videos are stored on your device.
Everything you create in the app is written to your device's local storage:
None of this is transmitted to us. We operate no server that receives it and we have no ability to read it.
If you choose to share a program with a coach or parent, DIY Training uses Apple's CloudKit to sync it. When you do:
This data is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive a copy of it.
When you attach a video, the app uses Apple's system photo picker. The app only receives the single video you pick — it has no access to the rest of your photo library and does not request that permission.
Subscriptions and Lifetime Access are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details, card number, or Apple Account credentials. The app only asks Apple whether an active purchase exists, and Apple answers yes or no.
DIY Training is designed to be used by athletes of any age, including with a parent or coach. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it collects none from children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes it. To remove a shared program from iCloud, stop sharing it in the app or delete the athlete before uninstalling.
DIY Training contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If you add a link to an exercise (for example a YouTube video), opening it takes you to that site, which has its own privacy policy.
If this policy changes we will update this page and revise the date above.
